OPRAH has revealed that she failed to recognise one of the most famous actors on the planet at Ellen DeGeneres’s recent 60th birthday bash.
Oprah was just one of the megastars at the party with some of the other guests including Kim and Kanye, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, James Corden, Jennifer Lopez, Pharrell Williams and Pink.
“There were so many famous people at this party,” Oprah said to Ellen on her talk show.
“When I was doing my show, famous people came on and they looked like themselves. At your party, they’re all disguised.”
Oprah said that during the party a guy in a baseball cap walked past her twice and said, “What’s going on?” But she had no idea who it was.
Later in the evening, she was chatting to The Weeknd when the mystery guest approached her again.
“This guy comes back and I’m thinking, ‘I know it’s somebody, who is it? Is it Justin Timberlake? I don’t think it’s Justin Timberlake,’” Oprah said.
“So The Weeknd says to him, ‘Hey man, I really loved that film you did.’ And he says, ‘No, that wasn’t a good film for me, that wasn’t my favourite film.’”
Oprah sensed and opportunity to figure out who the guy was and asked him, “What was your favourite film?”
“And he says, ‘The Aviator.’ And I go, ‘Leonardo, you’re so funny!’”
Yep, Oprah failed to recognise Leonardo DiCaprio.
Ellen’s birthday party was quite the wild evening with comedian David Spade revealing that someone was passing around a “big rolled-up doobie” at the event.
Spade admitted that he indulged and later felt a little light-headed at the soiree.
“I see Oprah and I go, ‘I should talk to Oprah,’” he recalled on Ellen’s talk show.
“Then the little embers in my brain that were still alive go, ‘Nope, abort, abort.’”
The former Just Shoot Me star’s memories from the event are a little hazy and he told Ellen: “I thought you were Justin Bieber for the first half-hour but only because of your haircut.”
ALLISON Janney has opened up about her awkward moment with Prince William and Kate Middleton at the BAFTAs.
The American actor won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the British event for her role in I, Tonya and was pictured leaving the awards show without any shoes on.
“I was in very high heels and at the Royal Albert Hall, it’s like Vegas, everything was so far to get anywhere and my feet had had it so I took my shoes off,” Janney told talk show host, James Corden.
But she quickly regretted her casual approach to footwear when she bumped into a couple of very famous guests.
“The awful thing is I did meet Kate and William and she was in her heels and pregnant so I felt a bit of a wimp that I was there in my bare feet,” Janney said.
“And what did they say to you?” Corden asked.
“I told her that I was in bare feet and … I told her that she should take her shoes off because she’s pregnant. It was an awkward moment.”
To make matter worse, Janney broke royal protocol by calling Kate Middleton “honey”.
“She was lovely,” Janney said about the Duchess of Cambridge.
“They loved I, Tonya and it was a pretty cool thing to meet them.”
Corden asked: “Did you test them on whether they’d actually seen it?”
“I chose not to, but it crossed my mind,” Janney replied.
The former West Wing star is the odds-on favourite to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at next month’s Oscars.

OPRAH Winfrey has admitted being baffled after she was described as “biased and slanted” by Donald Trump after a report she filed as an interviewer on 60 Minutes.
The talk show host came under fire from the president following her stint on the famed show, in which she met a group of voters in Michigan — some of whom had voted for Mr Trump in the 2016 US election — to hear their thoughts on his first year in office.
Mr Trump tweeted: “Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes.
“The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!” Winfrey told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres of her reaction to his tweet.
“I woke up and I just thought …” She shrugged and held her hands up in the air to display her confusion, and added: “And, I don’t like giving negativity power, so I just thought … what?” Winfrey also said Mr Trump’s comments made her look back at the footage to see if she had been fair.
“What I actually really did was I went back and looked at the tape to see if there was any place that that could be true,” she said.
Winfrey said she thought part of the interview — which saw the panel discuss topics including Mr Trump’s comment about people from “s**thole” countries and tax laws — needed to be fixed to make it “more balanced”.
She added: “I was working very hard to do the opposite of what I was hate-tweeted about so, it’s OK.”
Mr Trump’s remarks about Winfrey reignited the conversation about her possibly running for office, after she sparked speculation that she could be a strong contender following her rousing speech about equality at the Golden Globe awards.
She later said she had no desire to put herself forward as a Democratic candidate for the 2020 election.
PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have been caught up in a frightening anthrax scare after an envelope containing white powder was sent to Kensington Palace.
The letter was personally addressed to the royal couple but was intercepted by staff before it reached them.
Analysis of the powder found that it was harmless.
According to the Evening Standard, the incident is being played down officially by police but it has put Scotland Yard on high alert ahead of the royal wedding.
Ms Markle and Prince Harry are due to ride around a public route to greet crowds in a carriage after they wed at St George’s Chapel.
The carriage procession will travel along a route through the streets of Windsor before heading back to Windsor Castle.
“They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day,” Kensington Palace has said.
Last week, Vanessa Trump, the daughter-in-law of US President Donald Trump, was taken to a New York hospital after she opened a piece of mail containing an unidentified white powder that was later determined to be non-hazardous.
The wife of the President’s eldest son Donald junior, had opened a letter addressed to her husband.
She complained of nausea following her exposure and two other people who were present were also taken to the hospital.
Early this month, an investigation was launched after a “white substance” was sent to former US President Barack Obama’s office in Washington DC. The substance is thought to be baby powder.
There have been also be ongoing threats against the royal family.
Last October a terror suspect allegedly encouraged extremists to attack Prince George at school.
A 31-year-old man is due to face trial in connection with the threat in April.
